As of late, the LSU Football team has been starting its recruiting push as the Tigers look to build out their 2026 recruiting class given that the transfer portal activity has seemingly come to a complete stop for LSU. The past few weeks have been filled with LSU's coaching staff extending scholarship offers and Coaches criss-crossing the country visiting top recruiting targets.

When you know LSU is seriously pushing for a recruit is when you see the Head Coach traveling for a visit. On Friday, Brian Kelly went on the road to Gonzales, Louisiana to visit top recruiting target Brysten Martinez.

Brysten Martinez is one of the top players in the State and a must get player for LSU in this recruiting class. According to On3, Martinez is the 48th ranked player in the Class, the 10th ranked offensive tackle, and the 4th ranked player in Louisiana.

Later on in the day, LSU got even better news as Martinez will return the favor heading to Baton Rouge at the start of February for LSU's Recruiting Junior Day.

Adding Brysten Martinez to the growing lost of recruits that will be in attendance for Junior Day is massive for the LSU Football team. The Tigers are already set to host five-star Lamar Brown and Four-Star Jabari Mack while the list will only grow in the coming days.

This offseason, LSU lost both of its starting tackles and the search in the transfer portal showed how hard it is to find SEC caliber offensive tackles. Landing Martinez would give LSU another long term option at tackle as he could start after his Freshman season depending on which players are still in the room.
