LSU fans are ready for a big season from the Tiger football program. In what could be a make-or-break year for Brian Kelly, the Tiger faithful are loving LSU to go over their listed win total of 8.5.

Over at BetMGM Sportsbook, fans and bettors alike are flocking to back LSU to win at least nine regular season games. LSU to win over 8.5 games is receiving the second-highest amount of tickets among all college football teams.

Only the Colorado Buffaloes have more total tickets backing the over on their win total, which sits at 5.5. Interestingly enough, Colorado also has the most amount of tickets on their under as well. According to bettors, the Buffs appear to simultaneously be the most overrated and underrated team in the country.

LSU tied with Ole Miss and Tennessee for second-highest SEC win total

The win totals listed on BetMGM Sportsbook refer to the regular season, so bettors backing the over need LSU to go at least 9-3 in the regular season to cash their bets. LSU posted a record of 8-4 in the 2024 regular season before picking up a Texas Bowl win over Baylor.

Under Brian Kelly, LSU has gone 9-3 twice and 8-4 once in his three regular seasons in Baton Rouge. Kelly has posted an SEC record of 17-7, and after going 6-2 in league play in his first two seasons, posted a 5-3 record in SEC play last season. LSU opens the 2025 campaign on the road at Clemson on Aug. 30, with SEC play beginning on Sept. 13 against Florida at Tiger Stadium.

The highest win total in the SEC on BetMGM Sportsbook is shared by Alabama, Georgia, and Texas, who all have totals of 9.5. Along with LSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee both have win totals of 8.5. Auburn, Florida, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas A&M all have their win totals listed at 7.5, while Arkansas and Vanderbilt are listed at 5.5. Kentucky's is at 4.5, and Mississippi State's win total is the lowest in the conference at 3.5.
