The Spring has proven to be the prime recruiting season for the LSU Football program under Brian Kelly. Last Spring, LSU landed high profile recruit after high profile recruit helping LSU climb into the top three of the recruiting class rankings which allowed the Tigers to sign a top ten recruiting class.

This Spring, LSU got off to a fast start nabbing In-State Offensive Lineman Brysten Martinez which bumped LSU's class up from 6th to 3rd. This week, LSU nabbed the Nation's top wide receiver in Tristen Keys which gave LSU the Nation's top ranked recruiting class. While LSU will have a long way to go with getting these recruits across the finish line the message was what else can LSU add to this recruiting class?

4-Star Cornerback Dylan Purter commits to LSU giving Corey Raymond a massive win

The LSU Football program heads into the weekend with some exciting news as elite four-star cornerback Dylan Purter has committed to LSU.

According to On3, Dylan Purter is the Nation's 171st ranked recruit, the 19th ranked cornerback in the class, and the 9th ranked player out of Alabama. Corey Raymond went into Alabama and stole a recruit that the vast majority of the SEC was after.

As LSU adds Dylan Purter, the Nation's top ranked recruiting class only gets stronger as it adds another blue chip player. LSU's secondary class is starting to take shape as Dylan Purter joins Aiden Hall giving LSU two top recruits in the secondary. On Thursday, LSU got a crystal ball prediction to land In-State cornerback Dez Ellis which would add another player to the secondary class.

The Tigers secondary class now has the potential to be one of the best classes if not the best class in the Country. If LSU can keep five-star safety Blaine Bradford home, it would give LSU another blue chip piece. Corey Raymond has positioned himself nicely with several of the Nation's highest ranked cornerbacks which will only make for an exciting summer.
