EA College Football 25 simulation predicts a dominant performance from LSU's defense
The LSU Tigers are coming off of back to back losses and head down to the Swamp to take on the Florida Gators. The LSU Football team is still alive in the SEC race while the Gators are playing to build hype for next season. To get an idea on how this game may play out, we simulated a game of EA College Football 25.
The LSU Tigers started off hot with a 75 yard drive which was capped off by a one yard touchdown pass to Aaron Anderson. It would take until the second quarter for a team to score next with Florida's Trey Smack hitting a 40 yard field goal.
The Tigers would answer right back scoring on a four yard pass to CJ Daniels for Daniels' first score at LSU. The Tigers defense would make their first big mistake of the half allowing the Gators to get into field goal position in 40 seconds which allowed the Gators to tack on three before the half.
The Tigers would be the only team that scored in the third quarter getting the three points back on a 45 yard field goal from Damian Ramos to take a 17-6 lead into the fourth quarter. Any hopes of a Gators comeback were crushed when Caden Durham scored on a 1 yard run putting LSU up 27-6.
The Gators would score on a 32 yard run by DJ Lagway in garbage time but, the Tigers won the game with ease 24-13.
The LSU Defense only allowed DJ Lagway to pass for 198 yards on 16-27 passing without a touchdown pass. The run game didn't have much success for the Gators either aside from DJ Lagway who picked up 59 yards and a touchdown with his legs.
Garrett Nussmeier had a nice bounce back game completing 17 of 26 passes for 250 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The biggest issue for LSU is that the Tigers once again had to abandon the run game as they were picking up just 2.0 yards per carry.
Bradyn Swinson added a sack to his impressive season totals while Paris Shand and Sai'Vion Jones combined for another sack.
