The LSU Football team is wrapping up what was an excellent transfer portal cycle and their season with one final game against Baylor. As the transfer class is being wrapped up along with the season, all focus will shift toward the 2026 recruiting class with the offseason underway. The Tigers currently hold the Nation's 7th ranked recruiting class in the 2026 cycle with four commitments early on.

As LSU looks to add to the 2026 recruiting class, a player to keep an eye on is interior offensive lineman Darius Gray who has cut his list of 40+ offers down to 12 schools with LSU making the cut.

According to On3, Gray is the 25th ranked player in the 2026 class, the 4th ranked interior offensive lineman, and the 2nd ranked player in Virginia. Gray being the 25th ranked player means if his ranking held the rest of the cycle, he'd be a five star once the ranking expand to the final mark of 32 five-stars.

After next season, LSU will lose transfer Braelin Moore while its too early to tell which offensive linemen could transfer and which could emerge as NFL Draft prospects. Heading into next season, LSU could have two true freshmen starting on the offensive line so it could be a younger group.

Heading into the 2026 recruiting cycle, LSU should be one of the top destinations for offensive linemen. The Tigers will be sending two guards into the NFL while Left Tackle Will Campbell and right Tackle Emery Jones Jr could both be first round picks this spring.

LSU currently holds one commitment on the offensive line in the class in Jalan Chapman who is ranked as the 538th player in the Country, the 52nd interior offensive lineman, and the 15th ranked player in Louisiana.
