The LSU Football team is moving full steam ahead on the recruiting trail as the coaching staff extends offers to recruits in the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes before the upcoming dead period. The Tigers have been offering a ton of recruits but, LSU has been looking for additional good news as players start to trim their lists of schools they're considering down and planning recruiting visits.
LSU has gotten some good news as of late as Five-Star Offensive/Defensive Lineman Lamar Brown will visit and five-star Wide Receiver Tristen Keys named LSU one of his final ten schools he's considering.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Pouncey is a four star recruit ranked as the 131st ranked recruit in the class, the 12th ranked safety, and the 21st ranked player out of Florida.
It will be tough for LSU to beat out the Florida Gators to land Ayden Pouncey as they're the In-State school and Pouncey's older brothers Ethan and Jordan both signed with Florida out of High School. The good news for LSU is that during Corey Raymond's time away from LSU he built up relationships with players in Florida and it helped LSU in landing DJ Pickett and Ja'Keem Jackson. Ayden Pouncey's brother Ethan was a defensive back at Florida while Raymond was on the staff meaning there is a relationship there.
The Tigers just spent this entire offseason searching the transfer portal for starting caliber safeties. The LSU Football team will need to push hard for safeties to restock the room better building for the future rather than relying on the transfer portal. LSU already has one elite safety on board in Aiden Hall while Blaine Bradford is a five-star recruit at safety and the brother of Jacob Bradford who LSU signed last cycle.
