Final Injury reports are in for LSU Vs Alabama: CJ Daniels likely to play for LSU
We're just a few hours away from kick off between 11th ranked Alabama and 15th ranked LSU. This game has massive College Football Playoff implications with the loser taking their third loss of the season while adding another loss to their SEC records. The availability reports were updated at 5:00 PM Central Time which is the final update we'll get from the teams.
The biggest question for this game was whether or not CJ Daniels would play after leaving LSU's last two games early. Daniels started the week as questionable before being elevated to probable he'll likely play in LSU's biggest game of the season. Daniels is an integral part of LSU's offense and given that Chris Hilton Jr is still working his way back from injury, having everyone available for this game is massive for LSU.
Linebacker West Weeks is still listed as Probable, he'll likely suit up but, we most likely won't see him play. Weeks is trying to preserve his redshirt as he dealt with an injury this season and hasn't fully recovered. If LSU needs Weeks, he'll be able to step in as he's only played in two games and can play four while maintaining his redshirt.
Reserve Defensive Tackle Kim Makane'ole is also still listed as probable but, his availability shouldn't affect this game.
On the Alabama side there are no surprises as both players that appeared on the injury report in Keon Sabb and Cole Adams were ruled out at the start of the week.
Aside from the season ending injuries LSU has suffered, the Tigers are pretty healthy at this point which was helped out by the fact that the Tigers were on the Bye Week last weekend. The same applies to the Crimson Tide who have been healthy nearly the entire year aside from their two injuries.
