Former LSU Wide Receiver Jalen Brown transfers to Arkansas

On Sunday Night, On3's Pete Nakos broke the news that wide receiver Jalen Brown would be returning to the SEC with LSU's rival Arkansas Razorbacks.

Jalen Brown is the 2nd former LSU Tiger to transfer to Arkansas this offseason joining former LSU offensive tackle Marcus Dumervil who transferred into Arkansas this winter.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Jalen Brown was the 79th ranked player in his class, the 13th-ranked wide receiver, and the 18th-ranked player out of Florida. In a loaded wide receiver room, Jalen Brown appeared in just 3 games at LSU without recording any stats. After the season, Brown transferred to Florida State, where he caught just 8 passes for 75 yards.

Jalen Brown now arrives at his third program where he'll look to make a big impact for the first time in his career. Jalen Brown will make his return to Tiger Stadium on November 15th when the Razorbacks come to Baton Rouge for the Battle for the Boot.
