The start of the 2025 LSU football season is less than two weeks away. LSU has the chance to make a statement early on this season, as Brian Kelly's squad hits the road to face Clemson in Week 1 on Saturday, August 30.

Clemson is a not-so familiar opponent for LSU, as the two schools have met just four times. As the 2025 season draws nearer, we are taking a look at how LSU has fared historically against each 2025 opponent. Here are the all-time win/loss records for the Tigers against their opponents for the upcoming season.

Clemson: 3-1

LSU and Clemson have met only four times, with LSU taking home three victories. Tiger fans will never forget the last time these teams met, with LSU defeating Clemson 42-25 in the National Championship Game in 2019. The win sealed the deal on LSU's dominant 2019 season. LSU also has wins over Clemson in the 1959 Sugar Bowl and the 1996 Peach Bowl. Clemson's lone win against LSU came in the 2012 Peach Bowl by a score of 25-24.

This year's matchup on Aug. 30 kicks off a pivotal season for both programs. LSU finds themselves as road underdogs, as professional oddsmakers currently have Clemson favored by four points. Brian Kelly's squad can make a massive statement with a victory.

Louisiana Tech: 19-1

The Sept. 6 meeting between the Tigers and Bulldogs will be the 21st all-time meeting between the two Louisiana schools. The teams first met back in 1901, with LSU winning 57-0. Louisiana Tech's lone win over LSU was in 1905 by a score of 6-0 in Ruston. LSU has won 16 consecutive matchups since then, with the most recent victory coming in 2018 at Tiger Stadium by a score of 38-21.

Florida: 34-34-3

LSU and Florida first met in 1937, and have been annual opponents since 1971. The two schools have been extremely successful in recent years, as the Gators and Tigers have combined to win 11 SEC titles and five national championships over the past two decades. The meeting this season at Tiger Stadium on Sept. 13 serves as the SEC opener for both teams. The all-time series on the gridiron is tied 34-34-3, although LSU had three consecutive wins over Florida from 2013-15 vacated by the NCAA.

Southeastern Louisiana: 2-0

LSU and Southeastern Louisiana have met just twice, with LSU winning 48-7 in 1949 and 31-0 in 2018.

Ole Miss: 66-43-4

The Magnolia Bowl is one of the most anticipated games on the college football schedule every year. The Tigers and Rebels first met way back in 1894, and have played each other every year since 1945. The last two editions of this rivalry have resulted in wild back-and-forth games. Ole Miss won in 2023 by a score of 55-49, and LSU won last year's matchup in overtime 29-26. The Tigers never held a lead in regulation time in the victory. What will this year's matchup have in store?

South Carolina: 20-2-1

LSU has dominated South Carolina throughout the years. South Carolina won the first matchup in 1930, but that success didn't last. The Tigers won 12 straight matchups against the Gamecocks from 1931 to 1987. LSU has won nine consecutive meetings since 1995, and won 36-33 in Columbia last season.

Vanderbilt: 25-7-1

The Commodores have been the doormat of the SEC in recent decades, and LSU has taken advantage. LSU has won 10 straight meetings against Vanderbilt since 1991, and six of the Commodores' seven wins in this series came before 1960. Diego Pavia and company will be an interesting team in 2025, and LSU doesn't need to be caught sleeping against them on Oct. 18 in Nashville.

Texas A&M: 36-24-3

LSU's loss to Texas A&M in 2024 sent Brian Kelly's team into a spiral they never fully recovered from. The loss started a three-game losing streak for LSU, which crushed their hopes of a shot at the SEC title and College Football Playoff. The series now shifts to Baton Rouge, where the Tigers haven't lost to Texas A&M since 1994.

Alabama: 27-57-5

LSU and Alabama have had plenty of heavyweight fights over the years. The Tide have controlled the series in recent years, winning 14 of 18 meetings since 2008. Brian Kelly is 1-2 against Alabama in his tenure at LSU, with the win coming in 2022 in thrilling overtime fashion. It goes without saying that a win in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 8 would be huge for Kelly and the Tigers in 2025.

Arkansas: 45-23-2

The Tigers and Razorbacks played in all but one season from 1906 to 1936. They then only met five times between 1936 and 1992, with LSU winning all five contests. They've met every season since 1992, and LSU owns a strong 22-11 record in that span. LSU has won eight of the last nine meetings.

Western Kentucky: 2-0

The Hilltoppers will make their third-ever trip to Death Valley this fall. The first two came in 2011 and 2015, when LSU defeated WKU by scores of 42-9 and 48-20.

Oklahoma: 3-1

Oklahoma won the first meeting between these teams in the 1950 Sugar Bowl. In their second ever meeting, the Tigers defeated the Sooners in the 2003-04 BCS National Championship Game. LSU also beat Oklahoma in the 2019 Peach Bowl en route to winning the national title. LSU also won the first-ever SEC matchup between these teams last season by a score of 37-17 at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers hit the road to face Brent Venables' squad in the regular season finale on Nov. 29.
