By the time that LSU and Dallas Baptist face off, the loser of the matchup between Rhode Island and Little Rock will already be eliminated, with the loser of this matchup between LSU and DBU facing the winner of the first matchup on Sunday in the loser's bracket.
The LSU Baseball team has already faced off against the Dallas Baptist Patriots as these teams met in the College Baseball Series in Arlington back in February. The Tigers took home the win with Conner Ware on the mound taking home a 7-3 win. The biggest concern for LSU in the matchup was the long ball as Dallas Baptist clubbed two home runs in the 5th inning to score their 3 runs.
