Ja'Marr Chase continues to put up elite numbers. The LSU legend and National Champion put together another stand-out performance on Sunday, and entered rarified air in the process.

5-star recruit has LSU fans fired up and ready for 2026 with latest social media post

Chase hauled in 7 catches for 60 yards to go along with 2 touchdowns in Cincinnati's Week 17 37-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals. In the process, he entered a league of his own. Chase is now the first player in NFL history to have 80+ receptions, 1,000+ receiving yards, and 7+ receiving touchdowns in each of his first 5 NFL seasons.

Ja'Marr Chase has broken multiple records this season

Chase has broken multiple receiving records so far in 2025. Back in Week 7, he broke the Bengals franchise record for most catches in a single game by bringing in 16 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers.

With that performance, he became just the third receiver in NFL history to collect 6,000+ receiving yards and 50+ receiving touchdowns in the first 5 seasons of his career. The other two receivers in that exclusive club are Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Randy Moss. Furthermore, Chase and Moss are also the only two receivers in NFL history to have 7+ receiving touchdowns in each of their first 5 seasons.

When Joe Burrow went down with a turf toe injury back in Week 2, fans wondered if Chase's production would take a hit. But those fears never became a reality as Chase continued to put up elite numbers with Jake Browning and Joe Flacco as his QBs. Burrow missed 9 games and made his return in Week 13, and the pair have picked up right where they left off. On the season, Chase ranks 2nd in the NFL in catches (117), 4th in receiving yards (1,316), and 13th in receiving touchdowns (7). He may not win the receiving Triple Crown like he did last year, but he continues to dominate on a weekly basis.

Chase will look to add to his historic numbers in the regular season finale this weekend. Chase and the Bengals are set to close out the regular season on Sunday, January 4 with a home tilt against the Cleveland Browns. Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
