Ja Morant Gifts New Shoes to Matt McMahon, LSU Basketball Team

It has been a great start to the season for the LSU Basketball team as the Tigers are off to a 4-0 start including a massive win over Kansas State which will be a key piece on LSU's resume come the end of the season. Its early on but, year three is off to a great start as the rebuild under Matt McMahon is showing serious signs of progress.

Part of the reason why Matt McMahon was able to land the LSU Head Coaching job is NBA Star Ja Morant. While at Murray State, McMahon and his staff developed Ja Morant from an unranked recruit into the second overall pick in the NBA Draft.

Ever since Morant has went to the NBA and while McMahon is now at LSU, Morant has continued to show his coach love. The LSU Basketball team will be able to Boot Up in their own new pairs of Ja Morant's newest signature shoe.

The shoes are incredible coming in Purple and Gold as well as in White, Purple, and Gold giving LSU home and away options.

This isn't the first time that Morant has done this as he gifted the Tigers shoes last season in January.

While Ja Morant never went to LSU, he's quickly becoming a fan favorite for LSU Basketball fans. Morant's continued support of McMahon is awesome and is something that should appeal to some of the Nation's top recruits as McMahon continues to rebuild this program from the ground up.
