The LSU WR room is going to look a lot different in 2026. Aaron Anderson, Barion Brown, Zavion Thomas, and Chris Hilton are all entering the NFL Draft, while Nic Anderson, Kyle Parker and Destyn Hill entered the transfer portal and will play elsewhere next season. That left LSU's WR room with practically zero returning production when the transfer portal opened up on January 2.

Lane Kiffin made sure to make a splash when finding new WR talent to bring to Baton Rouge via the portal. Early on, Kiffin landed one of the most exciting receivers available in the form of Kansas State star Jayce Brown. Entering his senior season, Brown is eager to step into the spotlight to lead LSU's revamped group of wide receivers in Kiffin's first season.

Jayce Brown headlines impressive transfer WR haul for LSU

Brown was Kansas State's leading receiver in each of the last two seasons, and he headlines an impressive group of transfer wide receivers for Kiffin and the Tigers. The Fort Walton Beach native is coming off a season in which he racked up 41 catches for 712 yards and five touchdowns. In his career, Brown has 115 catches for 1,972 yards and 13 touchdowns to his name.

Brown's production will likely increase in Kiffin's offensive system with Sam Leavitt as LSU's QB1. Jordyn Dyson totaled 75 catches for 1,101 yards with Leavitt at Arizona State in 2024, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Brown flirt with those numbers in 2026. As it stands, Brown figures to be Leavitt's No. 1 WR target and push for the 1,000-yard mark next season.

Along with Brown, Kiffin brought in Jackson Harris from Hawai'i, Winston Watkins from Ole Miss, Eugene Wilson III from Florida, Tre' Brown III from Old Dominion, and Malik Elzy from Illinois. All figure to have a role in LSU's passing attack in 2026.

Furthermore, Kiffin also brought in additional pieces to give LSU's receiver room plenty of depth. Transfers Josh Jackson (McNeese), Tyree Holloway (West Florida), and Roman Mothershed (Troy), as well as incoming freshman Jabari Mack, Corey Barber, and Brayden Allen join the group and provide great depth for the Tigers.

Superstar tight end Trey'Dez Green is also one of the best red zone threats in the country, which gives Tiger fans a lot to look forward to offensively in 2026.
