Since entering the NFL in 2020, Justin Jefferson has solidified himself as one of the best wide receivers in the league. His final stats on the 2025 season aren't as elite as fans are accustomed to seeing, but Jefferson still put forth a solid campaign and made history in the process.

The LSU legend ended the 2025 season in impressive fashion, racking up 8 catches for 101 yards in Minnesota's 16-3 win over Green Bay in Week 18. With that performance, Jefferson has now put together 6 consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to begin his NFL career. He is just the 3rd receiver in NFL history to accomplish that feat, joining Hall of Famer Randy Moss and Mike Evans.

Justin Jefferson joins elite company with 6th straight 1,000-yard season

Jefferson has dealt with plenty of quarterback turnover during his 6 seasons in Minnesota. This season, he caught passes from J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz, and Max Brosmer. Not having a consistent QB1 makes Jefferson's 6 straight 1,000-yard seasons even more impressive. He has been a model of consistency, and has shown that he can produce elite numbers no matter who his quarterback is.

While Jefferson ends the 2025 campaign with an impressive feat with elite company, his overall numbers were a bit down from previous seasons. Playing in all 17 games, Jefferson hauled in 84 catches for 1,048 yards, which are both the second-lowest marks of his career. His 12.5 yards per catch is a career low, and after matching a career-high with 10 receiving touchdowns last season, he had just two this season. In his career, Jefferson is up to 579 receptions for 8,480 yards and 42 touchdowns.

Minnesota finished the regular season 9-8 and missed the playoffs, which means Jefferson's 2025 season is officially over. Still just 26 years of age, Jefferson is still in line to be one of the top receivers in the NFL once again next season. Along with Ja'Marr Chase, Malik Nabers, and Brian Thomas Jr, Jefferson continues a long line of elite wide receivers to thrive in the NFL. Heading into 2026, he will undoubtedly be hungry to improve his statistics from this season in 2026.
