The start to Kayshon Boutte's NFL Career hasn't gone as many would have hoped or expected thus far. In 2023, Boutte played in just five games catching just two passes on seven targets for 19 yards. During the preseason this year, it looked like Boutte may be a cut candidate as he got next to no playing time in the Patriots final preseason game.

Thankfully, Boutte made the roster and thus far he's proving to be one of the better wide receivers on the Patriots. Against the Dolphins last weekend, Boutte started to make strides catching two passes for 34 yards.

This weekend, Boutte's growing playing time reached its peak leading the team in total routes run.

The best play of Boutte's game and his NFL Career to this point came in the 2nd quarter when he committed a case of Tiger on Tiger crime beating Derek Stingley Jr deep for a 40 yard touchdown.

Boutte finished the game with three catches for 59 yards and a score catching all three of his targets.

It's great to see Kayshon Boutte finally hitting his groove

Every player that heads to the NFL can't start their career red hot like Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers have thus far. The path has been different for Kayshon Boutte but, he looks like he's finally making strides in the NFL. The Patriots now seemingly have their quarterback of the future and having a set player to build chemistry with may be the best thing for Kayshon's long term development in New England.
