The LSU Women's Basketball team came into the offseason needing to make some wholesale changes to the roster. Not only did LSU fail to return to the Final Four but, LSU wasn't good enough to win the SEC Regular Season Championship or the SEC Tournament. The Lady Tigers were clearly a class below Texas and South Carolina in the SEC which meant Kim Mulkey needed to go out and add stars to the roster.

The Lady Tigers kicked off the transfer portal cycle by landing Notre Dame's Kate Koval a former Top 5 recruit who strongly considered LSU before spending her freshman season at Notre Dame. After landing Kate Koval, Kim Mulkey went and added a high-level scorer in Amiya Joyner from East Carolina, elevating the Tigers' roster.

While adding both players was massive for the LSU Women's Basketball team, Kim Mulkey still needed to add that third star to LSU's roster if the team was going to be a National Championship contender.

LSU nabs South Carolina Star MiLaysia Fulwiley giving LSU a 3rd star

The LSU Women's Basketball team has landed its third star as South Carolina's MiLaysia Fulwiley has committed to LSU.

The addition is massive for the LSU Lady Tigers and Kim Mulkey, as the Tigers lacked a Kim Mulkey style point guard for the past two seasons. After scoring 11.7 points per game with 2.8 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game for the Gamecocks off of the bench, Fulwiley will come in and give the LSU Women's Basketball team a star point guard.

MiLaysia Fulwiley was the SEC Sixth Woman of the Year due to her incredible ability off of the bench. Fulwiley will come in and give the Lady Tigers an elite level scorer on offense and a smart defender making a key impact on both ends of the court.

The Lady Tigers now have a starting five of MiLaysia Fulwiley, Mikaylah Williams, Flau'Jae Johnson, Amiya Joyner, and Kate Koval, giving LSU a completely rebuilt roster. The Tigers can only get deep as well as LSU is in contention for Wisconsin forward ,Serah Williams which would give LSU the best roster in the Country by a far stretch.
