The LSU offense is going to look very different in 2026 than it did in 2025. Lane Kiffin has signed key returners such as running backs Caden Durham and Harlem Berry, as well as superstar tight end Trey'Dez Green, but there will be lots of new names donning the purple and gold in Kiffin's first season in Baton Rouge.

LSU's receiving room will look vastly different, as Kiffin has signed 9 wide receivers via the portal already. Among the departures in the WR room is redshirt sophomore Kyle Parker, who committed to his new team on Friday afternoon.
Kyle Parker set to join Ohio State after 3 seasons with LSU
According to On3, Parker has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes for the 2026 season. He leaves Baton Rouge after 3 seasons, and thanks to redshirting in 2023, will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
With the move, Parker follows former LSU wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton from Baton Rouge to Columbus, and joins an Ohio State team among the National Championship favorites for 2026.

Parker appeared in 4 games in 2023 without recording any stats and utilized his redshirt. He then appeared in 4 games in 2024, and his season was cut short due to a torn tricep tendon.
The native of Allen, TX then put together a strong 2025 campaign and appeared in all 13 games for the Tigers. In total, Parker collected 31 catches for 330 yards and 4 touchdowns on the season. His best performance of the season came in the Texas Bowl against Houston where he tallied a career-high 7 catches for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Owning a 5'11", 195-pound frame, Parker has the potential to thrive in Ryan Day's offense. He figures to be a slot receiver for the Buckeyes, with Jeremiah Smith and Brandon Inniss playing on the outside. His career at LSU didn't pan out the way he had hoped, but Parker has the potential to make a substantial impact in his career moving forward.
