According to Steve Wiltfong of Rivals, LSU has offered WR Jerquaden Guilford, 4-star WR hailing from Fort Wayne, IN. Guilford is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana and the No. 22 WR in the country for the 2026 class.
Kiffin previously recruited him at Ole Miss, and Guilford was reportedly close to giving Kiffin a verbal commitment. Now, Kiffin is trying to bring the talented wideout to Baton Rouge.

Guilford has been committed to the Buckeyes since July 18. His last visit before committing to Ohio State was to Ole Miss on June 13. The visit reportedly went well, but Guilford chose Ohio State a little over a month later.
247Sports National Analyst Hudson Standish describes Guilford as a "well-rounded outside receiver who can create separation at all three levels of the defense and stretch the field vertically." Standish adds that Guilford is "verified around 6-foot-2.5, 190 pounds ahead of his senior season with a broad frame and a fantastic combine testing profile."
LSU was not heavily involved in his recruitment the first time around, but Kiffin is quickly changing that. Kiffin extending Guilford an offer less than 24 hours after taking over at LSU shows how highly Kiffin thinks of Guilford's talent and potential. Getting Guilford in the mix could be a big get for Kiffin's early days in Baton Rouge.
As it stands, LSU has the No. 12 recruiting class in the country according to 247Sports. Other wide receivers in the class include 4-star Kenny Darby, 4-star Jabari Mack, and 3-star Kervin Johnson Jr.
