Lane Kiffin has been hard at work bringing new talent to LSU via the transfer portal. His work is being noticed, as LSU's 2026 portal class is currently ranked No. 1 in the country by 247Sports. But landing 5-star OT Jordan Seaton could take LSU's portal class to the next level.

Seaton is ranked as the No. 2 offensive lineman in the portal by Saturday Blitz, and is the top lineman still available on the market. He spent Sunday in Baton Rouge visiting with Kiffin and the coaching staff, but the latest update in his recruitment has Tiger fans everywhere guessing.
Can Lane Kiffin land Jordan Seaton in the portal?
Seaton's visit in Baton Rouge was supposed to run through Monday evening, culminating in a private dinner at Supper Club Monday night. However, according to Matt Moscona of LouisianaSports.net, that dinner has now been canceled.

ESPN's Pete Thamel reported on Sunday that Seaton was set to visit Oregon at some point on Monday. At this point, it's unknown if Seaton's Monday night dinner in Baton Rouge was canceled because of his plans to visit Eugene. But, Tiger fans are certainly concerned that Seaton's plans for his LSU visit have changed.
Landing Seaton would be a monster get for Kiffin and the Tigers. Seaton spent the last 2 seasons at Colorado and is an elite pass-protector. He allowed just 5 sacks over the course of 948 pass blocking snaps win Boulder, and his pass-blocking grade of 91.4 was the best in the entire country this past season.
After adding former Arizona State QB Sam Leavitt in the portal, keeping him upright is a major point of emphasis for LSU in 2026. Leavitt suffered a season-ending ankle injury in October, and Seaton's presence on the Tiger offensive line would do wonders for the LSU offense in Kiffin's first season.
The college football transfer portal was open from January 2-16, but there is no deadline to commit once players enter. That means Seaton can announce his commitment at any time. Along with LSU, he has also visited Miami (FL) and Mississippi State, and Texas is still in the conversation as well.
