This week is the final week of regular season College Baseball before the true chaos of the postseason begins. For the LSU Baseball team last week marked a return to form as the Tigers picked up a massive series win over the Arkansas Razorbacks giving LSU it's most impressive weekend series win to date. The series comes on the heels of LSU dropping 2 of 3 to Texas A&M which made the win even more important.

As Postseason play approaches, the National Polls and RPI Rankings matter more than ever as LSU will look to earn a Top 8 seed into the NCAA Tournament ensuring their road to Omaha runs through Baton Rouge.

On Monday, Baseball America released its latest College Baseball Top 25 with a great ranking for the LSU Baseball Team.

LSU Baseball is back on top earning the top ranking in the Country

After taking 2 of 3 from Arkansas along with some massive losses around the Country, the LSU Baseball team is the best team in the Country according to Baseball America.

The LSU Baseball team moved to 40-12 this weekend reaching the impressive 40 win mark with 10 other programs this season. The Tigers are now 17-10 in SEC Play with a 10-3 record in Weekend Series' which is an incredibly impressive mark in a conference as loaded as the SEC.

The Tigers have arguably the best 1-2 starting pitching duo in America in Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson which makes the Tigers a nightmare in any series they play and dangerous in the postseason. While the pitching has been dominant, the Tigers are still looking to find some consistency at the plate to tie everything together.

Baseball America and every other final ranking will be truly shaped by who wins the SEC Tournament as the Conference is loaded. Aside from LSU at Number 1, Auburn is ranked 2nd, Georgia 4th, Texas 6th, Arkansas 7th, Vanderbilt 10th, Florida 13th, Alabama 16th, Tennessee 18th, and OIe Miss 22nd.

The final weekend of the Regular Season won't help LSU much as the Tigers will face off against a reeling South Carolina program.
