The LSU Baseball team has just three games left in the regular season before the Tigers will go hunting for their 8th National Championship and the 2nd in the Jay Johnson era. The entire season LSU has ranked within the Top 10 with most of the season being spent as a Top 5 team speaking to the talent level this team has.
At this time of the season, you need the best players on your team to peak as they'll need to propel the team to wins in regionals, super regionals, and Omaha. While LSU can field one of the best offenses in the Country, the path to a deep run lies in LSU's Pitching Staff.
The LSU Baseball team's greatest asset is its 1-2 punch atop the rotation as Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson have proven they can shut down any team on any given night. In the weekend series, LSU's been able to roll through its competition in part because of the dominant efforts its duo has provided, and the National Analysts have started to notice.

The only time LSU fans have been concerned with Kade Anderson is when he left Friday's game against Arkansas with an injury which was later revealed to be a cramp. After back-to-back rough starts in the middle of the season, Anderson has snapped into form with three straight solid starts against Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Arkansas.
Early on in SEC play, Anthony Eyanson struggled against Missouri and Texas, which raised red flags with the fanbase. Ever since the Texas game, Eyanson has been dominant, allowing 2 or fewer runs in every game except for his outing against Auburn. The last two starts by Eyanson have shown he's peaking at the perfect time as he followed up a complete game against Tennessee with a 6-inning shutout of Arkansas.
Anderson and Eyanson will be key to propelling LSU on a deep postseason run, especially in games when the offense is struggling. In each round of the NCAA Tournament, Anderson and Eyanson can make it easy on LSU to move on, while if lose their matchup, LSU will need their third starter who has rotated to deliver their best start of the season.
LSU fans are thrilled for this team's potential in the postseason and with a duo atop the rotation as talented as Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson, LSU will have a great chance at winning its 8th National Championship.
