LSU cracks the final 11 for Four-Star Wide Receiver ahead of his visit to Baton Rouge
Throughout the week, we've shared how massive this weekend will be for LSU just on the recruiting front. LSU will host massive flip targets, a majority of the committed 2025 recruits, and some of the best recruits in the 2026 and 2027 classes. The list continues to grow as five-star 2026 recruit Devin Carter will make the trip to Baton Rouge.
This will be the third time that LSU has gotten Devin Carter on campus as he visited in the Spring and the Spring the year prior. Getting Carter on campus this weekend has an even bigger impact as Carter named LSU one of the 11 schools he's focusing on the rest of his recruitment.
Carter is the 29th ranked recruit overall, the 5th ranked wide receiver, and the 3rd ranked player out of Georgia according to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings.
The LSU Football team is in great position to landing an elite wide receiver recruiting class in the 2026 cycle. While Carter is on Campus this weekend, Tristen Keys the 3rd ranked wide receiver in the 2026 class will also be back on campus for an official visit. In-State, LSU has a great relationship with top-10 receiver recruit Jabari Mack who could be the next player to head to LSU from Destrehan.
Time for Cortez Hankton to reel in a loaded Wide Receiver Class
One of the positions that LSU should have the easiest times recruiting is Wide Receiver as the Tigers have put All-Pro after All-Pro in the NFL. In the 2025 recruiting cycle, the Tigers were finalists for nearly every five-star wide receiver but, they were unable to land any. This cycle, LSU should be able to land at least one of the five-star receivers as LSU's offense continues to have success Post-Jayden Daniels.
