Everyday this Month the LSU Football team has seemingly gotten great news on the recruiting trail. The month started off with LSU hosting the best players in Louisiana for the Tigers "Boys in the Boot" Junior Day event. As a result of LSU's Junior Day event and the staffs visits to the schools of top recruits, the Tigers were able to reel in Louisiana Native Brysten Martinez a top player in the class.
Over the past few weeks, recruits have cut their lists of schools in consideration down and LSU has been on a ton of them pointing toward potential commitments down the line. One of the latest to cut their list down while including LSU is Offensive Tackle Samuel Roseborough.

Roseborough is one of the most sought after offensive linemen in the 2026 recruiting class as he's ranked by On3 as the 43rd ranked player in the class, the 9th ranked offensive tackle, and the 7th ranked recruit out of Florida. On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine gives the Tigers a 27.4% chance of landing the star tackle trailing only Florida at 31.3%.
While LSU and Brad Davis have been recruiting Roseborough for nearly a year, the Tigers relationship may not be the biggest X-Factor. The Tigers new hire Alex Atkins could be the coach that helps LSU the most when it comes to recruiting the four star recruit. Florida State was recruiting the In-State star for a long time with Alex Atkins leading the recruitment before he was fired. While Atkins is now the tight ends coach for LSU his role as the run game coordinator will have him involved with the offensive line a ton.
The Tigers just signed a massive recruiting class filled with interior offensive linemen making offensive tackle a need in this class. Given that LSU already has Brysten Martinez on board a long term tackle duo of Roseborough and Martinez would be massive for the Tigers.
