The LSU Tigers are in an in between period when it comes to their High School recruiting push as they look to build out the 2026 recruiting class. After hosting the best players in Louisiana for the "Boys in the Boot" Junior Day recruiting event, the recruiting Dead Period has gone into effect meaning the staff can't have contact with any recruits until March.
On the other hand, LSU has been getting massive news as recruits have been trimming down the list of schools they'll consider and when they schedule their official visits for after the recruiting dead period.
In-State Recruits Lamar Brown and Jabari Mack will take their final official visits to LSU on June 21st which is massive news for the Tigers. The Tigers also made the final schools list for elite cornerbacks Brandon Arrington and Khary Adams.
The latest news for the LSU Football program is massive as the Tigers are one of the six schools that will get an official visit for elite five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys.

The late momentum has been in Alabama's favor as the Crimson Tide hosted Keys for their Junior Day. There is reasons to be optimistic about LSU's chances however, for starters in the graphic of Keys, he's wearing LSU arm sleeves while he's sported LSU gear in his High School games. LSU also hosted Keys on campus twice for games this season which is a great sign.
Tristen Keys is one of the elite talents in this recruiting class as the 6th ranked recruit in the 2026 recruiting class, the 2nd ranked wide receiver in the class, and the top player out of Mississippi according to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings. The fact that neither In-State school will get Keys on an official visit is massive news for everyone involved.
The Tigers are off to a great start in this recruiting class as Cortez Hankton has reeled in commitments from Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson, two of the best wide receivers in Louisiana. If the Tigers can nab Tristen Keys or Jabari Mack it would be a great recruiting haul, if the Tigers could nab both, it would be an incredible recruiting cycle.
