While Spring Practices are underway for the LSU Football team in the buildup for the 2025 season, the Tigers are already full steam ahead on the recruiting trail. LSU entered the Spring with the Nation's 3rd ranked recruiting class and the Top Class in the SEC looking to build on the great foundation in this class. The first two weekends of the Spring have brought star studded casts of recruits to Baton Rouge.
While the visits are still flying in, LSU continues to evaluate the players in the 2026 recruiting class still dishing out offers to several players. The latest to get an offer from the LSU Football program is elite Five-Star Wide Receiver Cederian Morgan.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Cederian Morgan is the 21st ranked player in the class, the 3rd ranked wide receiver, and the second ranked player out of Alabama. Given that Morgan is from Alabama, it'll be incredibly difficult to lure him out of Alabama especially with the level Alabama and Auburn recruit In-State Wide Receivers.
The offer to Cederian Morgan comes at a busy weekend of new for LSU when it comes to wide receivers. On Sunday Night, LSU Alum Ja'Marr Chase became the highest paid Non-Quarterback in NFL History surpassing his LSU teammate Justin Jefferson as the highest paid wide receiver of All-Time. On Sunday Night, On3 also predicted that LSU would land elite Wide Receiver recruit Boobie Feaster following his return visit to Baton Rouge.
The LSU Football program already has two elite wide receivers on board with commitments from In-State Four Stars Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson. If Feaster ends up committing to LSU that would make three commitments at the position for the Tigers. LSU also remains in the race for several other top wide receivers including Five-Star Tristen Keys and Destrehan's Jabari Mack.
All eyes will now be on whether or not LSU gets a visit from Morgan this Spring as LSU will need to make up a ton of ground to nab the Five-Star.
