The main goal tonight for the LSU Football team is to pick up a massive win over the Ole Miss Rebels. Winning this game will then help LSU in its recruiting efforts as there will be nearly 100 recruits in attendance for this game. The good news for the LSU Football program is that the recruiting momentum has started before the game has even kicked off.

Earlier this week, Jacob Bradford decommitted from Houston fresh off of an official visit to Baton Rouge. Considering that Bradford is going to be in attendance for Today's game, the Tigers had all of the momentum and it seemed like they may have had a chance at landing a commitment after the game.

LSU won't have to wait that long as Jacob Bradford has committed to the LSU Football Program.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Bradford is a four-star recruit ranked as the 388th best player in the country, the 36th ranked safety, and the 14th best player in Louisiana.

The Tigers have struggled in the secondary and they'll lose experienced veterans this offseason to the NFL Draft and probably a few younger players to the transfer portal. LSU now has three safeties committed in CJ Jimcoily, Jhase Thomas, and Jacob Bradford. Corey Raymond and Jake Olsen have done an incredible job recruiting bringing in several highly ranked defensive backs to rebuild DBU.

This commitment should help LSU in its 2026 recruiting efforts as Jacob's younger brother Blaine is one of the Nation's highest ranked recruits. Blaine Bradford has already put LSU in his final five and is the 14th ranked recruit in the class and the Nation's top safety.
