The transfer portal continues to shake up rosters all across College Football as players determine what is best for their future development and which school gives them the quickest path to playing time. For the most part, LSU has lost depth pieces and rotational players with a few starters or players in line to start mixed in.

The latest loss for LSU was seemingly going to be cornerback PJ Woodland as On3's Pete Nakos reported however, Nakos has since deleted his tweet after Woodland responded with the following.

It seems like at one point Woodland was considering transferring but, has decided to stick with LSU.

This season, PJ Woodland was impressive in limited playing time, ending the year with 15 tackles, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble. We saw a ton of PJ Woodland early on this season as Zy Alexander was still recovering from his torn ACL. Once Alexander returned and was playing the way he did, Woodland quickly saw his playing time cut down a bit but, he still appeared in every game for LSU.

Now that PJ Woodland has a full season of experience under his belt, we will see him compete for a starting role in the defense where LSU will need to replace Zy Alexander.

LSU is set to be loaded at cornerback next season especially if they play their cards right in the Transfer Portal. The Tigers will return starter Ashton Stamps and Woodland, while true freshman DJ Pickett is talented enough to start from the second, he gets onto campus. The Tigers are heavily expected to land transfer Ja'Keem Jackson from Florida so he's another player that could start next season for LSU.
