The attention for LSU's staff currently is building out the 2026 recruiting class with the season now over and the transfer portal activity finally slowing down. The LSU Football team is off to a great start to the offseason after nabbing Top 100 edge rusher JaReylan McCoy during the All American Bowl. Landing McCoy has moved LSU's recruiting class all the way up to the 4th ranking Nationally and gives LSU the second ranked class in the SEC.
As of late, LSU's Coaching staff has hit the ground running building out their recruiting boards by offering a few top 2026 recruits. Joe Sloan offered Arizona State Commit Jake Fette, Corey Raymond offered defensive back Brandon Arrington, and Brad Davis has been offering offensive linemen in the 2026 and 2027 classes.
After LSU landed tight end Donovan Green from Texas A&M marking the 15th transfer portal addition, we'll likely see LSU's transfer hunt come to an end. The latest offer for LSU comes as Kevin Peoples offers 2026 edge rusher Dre Quinn.
Dre Quinn is a four-star recruit out of Georgia ranked as the 252nd ranked player in the Nation, the 25th ranked edge rusher and the 31st ranked player out of Georgia according to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings.
At the High School level Quinn plays all over the field but, at the next level he's best fit as an edge rusher which is why Kevin Peoples is recruiting him. Peoples has proven himself as a solid recruiter and one of the top coaches when it comes to developing edge rushers so LSU will have a strong chance with a ton of edge rushers given his track record.
