The LSU Football program is currently hosting recruits as a part of the Tigers Junior Day recruiting event. The Junior Day event is one of the most important events of the year compared to a game weekend as LSU truly would love to add every recruit in attendance while at other events LSU brings hundreds of recruits to campus some of which they won't ever truly push for.
The Tigers are hosting elite recruits in the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes as the Tigers look to build out both classes before the February 3rd Recruiting Dead Period takes effect. Among the recruits on campus is elite running back Jayden Miles who picked up an offer from LSU's Staff during Junior Day.

The 2027 class is far from National Signing Day and to this point, the recruiting services have only ranked 100 players so Jayden Miles is currently not ranked. This season, Jayden Miles broke out in his first season as a starter for Baton Rouge's Catholic High School.
Catholic High School has become an important school for LSU over the past few recruiting cycles as the LSU Football team signed Jacob Bradford in the 2025 recruiting cycle while the Tigers will push to sign Blaine Bradford in the 2026 recruiting cycle and Jayden Miles in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
The LSU Football program may not be an attractive landing spot for running backs in the 2026 recruiting cycle as the Tigers just signed two elite backs in Harlem Berry and JT Lindsey with Caden Durham able to play for LSU for at least two more seasons. The Tigers will likely push for high end running backs again in the 2027 cycle and having an elite prospect right down the road will be massive for the Tigers in their push.
