The LSU Tiger offensive line continues to get decimated by the transfer portal. A total of 5 offensive linemen are planning to look for other opportunities in the portal, including 5-star freshman Carius Curne, redshirt freshman Coen Echols, redshirt sophomore DJ Chester, redshirt sophomore Tyree Adams, and redshirt sophomore Paul Mubenga.

That number has now increased to 6 with the latest portal news out of Baton Rouge. According to On3, redshirt freshman Ory Williams now intends to enter the transfer portal as well. Williams played in 12 games this season with a pair of starts, and has appeared in 13 games in his LSU career.

Ory Williams is the 6th LSU offensive lineman with plans to enter the transfer portal

Williams came to LSU as a 3-star prospect and the No. 28 offensive tackle prospect in the country in the class of 2024. Hailing from San Marcos, Texas, Williams appeared in one game in 2024 before playing in 12 games with 2 starts this season. The 6'8", 335-pound lineman will have 3 years of eiligibility remaining.

Along with being the 6th Tiger lineman to enter the portal, he is also the 15th player overall with plans to test the portal waters. The portal opens on January 2, and Lane Kiffin and new offensive line coach Eric Wolford figure to be extremely busy. They have a lot of production to replace, as only Solomon Thomas and Braelin Moore are expected to return at this point in time.

The LSU offensive line struggled as a whole in 2025, and dealt with injuries all season long. Needless to say, it's a unit that will look vastly different in 2026. It will be interesting to see how Kiffin and Wolford navigate the portal to bring in reinforcements up front.

The incoming 2026 recruiting class includes 4-star OL prospect Brysten Martinez and 3-star OL Ryan Miret. Martinez is rated by 247Sports as the No. 4 player in Louisiana and the No. 10 offensive lineman in the country. Miret flipped from Ole Miss to LSU shortly after Kiffin's hiring, and is ranked as the No. 68 interior offensive lineman in the country.
