Despite a lackluster season that saw the Tigers finish with a 7-5 regular season record, the LSU Football program will be well-represented at the 2026 NFL Combine. The Combine is set to take place from February 23 to March 2 in Indianapolis as former Tigers look to make a lasting impression to NFL organizations.
LSU faces a tough 2026 schedule, but how does it rank nationally?
Earlier this week, the NFL released the full list of draft prospects who received an invite to the Combine. In total, 319 players received invites, and LSU will send 11 players to Indianapolis in a few weeks.
11 Tigers invited to NFL Scouting Combine
The 11 players that LSU will send to the NFL Combine is tied for the third-most among all FBS schools. Texas A&M leads the way with 13, Alabama will send 12, and both LSU and Ohio State will send 11 players to Indianapolis.
LSU will be well-represented on both sides of the ball. Here is a look at all 11 players who will display their respective skill sets at the Combine:
QB Garrett Nussmeier
WR Aaron Anderson
WR Barion Brown
WR Chris Hilton
WR Zavion Thomas
TE Bauer Sharp
EDGE Patrick Payton
EDGE Jack Pyburn
LB Harold Perkins Jr.
CB Mansoor Delane
S A.J. Haulcy
Cornerback Mansoor Delane is projected to be the highest draft pick among former LSU players. In the latest NFL Mock Draft from Saturday Blitz, Delane is projected to be selected 5th overall by the New York Giants.
Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier entered the 2025 season as a projected First Round pick and potentially even a top-10 pick. However, injuries severely hindered his final collegiate season and ultimately cut his season short. His draft stock dropped significantly, but it is now back on the rise after his MVP performance at the Senior Bowl in late January.
LSU has a rich history of sending elite talent to the NFL, and this group is looking to keep that tradition rolling. So is Lane Kiffin, who has already constructed an impressive roster for LSU heading into 2026. Five players from Kiffin's 2025 team at Ole Miss received Combine invites, and Tiger fans are excited to see the talent that he and his staff develops in Baton Rouge in 2026 and beyond.
The 2026 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 23 in Pittsburgh.
