After suffering their first loss of the 2025 season against Ole Miss, the LSU Tigers got a much-needed bye week in Week 6. The underwhelming play of the LSU offense and the health of Garrett Nussmeier remain the two main talking points surrounding the Tigers' bye week. South Carolina is also coming off a bye week, so both the Tigers and Gamecocks have had ample time to rest up and prepare for this matchup.

LSU has dominated the all-time series against South Carolina, claiming a record of 20-2-1 against the Gamecocks. LSU has won nine consecutive meetings since 1995, and won by a score of 36-33 in Columbia last season. It's officially game week again, and LSU vs South Carolina betting odds have been released.

So far this season, LSU is 4-1 straight up but just 2-3 against the spread. LSU has failed to cover the spread in each of its last two games, and haven't covered since defeating Florida 20-10 in Week 3. Given LSU's defense strength and underperforming offense thus far, it makes sense that the Tigers have played in several low-scoring games, with the Under going 4-1 in LSU's five games this season.

On the other side, Shane Beamer's Gamecocks are 3-2 straight up and 3-2 against the spread. South Carolina is coming off a 35-13 win over Kentucky in Week 5, easily covering the 5.5-point spread. The Under is 3-2 for South Carolina so far this season. Kick-off between the Tigers and Gamecocks is set for 6:45 p.m. CT at Tiger Stadium this Saturday, Oct. 11.
