The LSU Tigers were able to snap a three-game losing streak with a 23-22 win over Arkansas in Week 12. It was a much-needed win for the LSU Football program, which has seen the 2025 season go off the rails. Interim head coach Frank Wilson led the Tigers to their fourth consecutive win over the Razorbacks, and have now won nine of the last 10 Battles for the Boot.

Next on the schedule are the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. WKU is 8-2 on the season and is on track to play in the C-USA Championship game. They are coming off a 42-26 win against Middle Tennessee State in their last contest, and LSU is the only Power Four team that WKU will face this season.

So far this season, LSU is 6-4 straight up and just 3-7 against the spread. The Tigers failed to cover the spread in their most recent game against Arkansas, winning by one point as 4.5-point favorites. Low-scoring games have been a common theme for LSU this season, as the under is 7-3 in LSU's 10 games.

On the other side, the Hilltoppers have been great at covering the number all season long. WKU is 8-2 straight up and a strong 8-2 against the spread. The Hilltoppers have covered the spread in six of their last seven games, and easily covered the 13.5-point spread in their 42-26 win over MTSU last week.

The Hilltoppers and Tigers have met just twice in their respective histories. Both matchups have taken place in Baton Rouge with LSU winning both convincingly. The first meeting came in 2011 and resulted in a 42-9 LSU win, and the most recent meeting took place in 2015 with LSU picking up a 48-20 victory. Kick-off for Saturday's matchup is slated for 6:45 p.m. CT at Tiger Stadium.
