The LSU Football team is firing on all cylinders when it comes to landing their targets via the transfer portal. Thus far LSU has addressed nearly every position of need landing tight end Bauer Sharp, Wide Receiver Barion Brown, Cornerback Ja'Keem Jackson, and edge rusher Jimari Butler.

The one position LSU hasn't addressed yet is on the offensive line where LSU will likely field an inexperienced group unless it adds transfers. LSU only returns DJ Chester while losing Will Campbell, Emery Jones, Miles Frazier, and Garrett Dellinger.

The Tigers are favored to land Virginia Tech Center/Guard Braelin Moore, and they'll get another offensive lineman on campus next week in USC's Mason Murphy.

According to On3's Industry Transfer Portal player rankings, Murphy is the 162nd ranked player in the Portal and is currently projected to land at Auburn.

This season, Mason Murphy didn't have the best year as he played tackled for USC finishing the season with a 55.5 PFF Grade. The area where he's most attractive to the LSU Football team is as a guard as he's an impressive run blocker.

The biggest thing that Murphy brings to the table is experience which LSU desperately needs to add up front. Over the last three seasons, Murphy has started 22 games on USC's Offensive Line playing just under 2,000 snaps for the Trojans.

If LSU can move Murphy from Right Tackle into a role at guard he could become a solid piece for the Tigers while giving the talented Freshman class of offensive linemen an experienced player to help with the bumps they'll see in their first year of playing time.
