LSU wins out getting top offensive linemen Carius Curne to sign with the Tigers
National Signing Day is officially underway and thus far, LSU has gotten 13 of their 25 commitments to sign officially making them LSU Tigers. A few recruits will get the majority of the headlines like five-star DJ Pickett, Five-Star Jahkeem Stewart, Five-Star Solomon Thomas, and Five-Star Harlem Berry. One of the recruits that has flown under the radar yet, may end up a five-star recruit is offensive lineman Carius Curne.
The LSU Tigers landed a commitment from the top recruit out of Arkansas and never looked back and this morning he officially became an LSU Tiger.
According to On3, Carius Curne is the 29th ranked player in the class, the 2nd ranked interior offensive lineman, and the top ranked player out of Arkansas. By the end of the cycle, On3 will have 32 five-stars making it very likely that Carius Curne ends up being another five star recruit for LSU.
Carius Curne joins Brett Bordelon as the signees on the offensive line while LSU waits for four-star interior offensive lineman Tyler Miller to sign on later in the day. If LSU is able to pull off the flip for five-star offensive linemen Solomon Thomas this quickly becomes a loaded class for LSU.
Curne is athletic for an offensive lineman which will help as LSU looks to fill four holes on the offensive line. Landing players like Curne and potentially Solomon Thomas as LSU will lose Will Campbel, Garrett Dellinger, Miles Frazier, and potentially Emery Jones to the NFL Draft.
This has been an impressive recruiting cycle by Brad Davis and if he can get Miller and Solomon Thomas on board it will be one of his best to date.
