As fans were excited to watch the LSU Women's Basketball team facing off against the reigning National Champion South Carolina Gamecocks, the anticipation will have to continue building up as the game has been postponed being rescheduled for Friday January 23rd.

The winter storm that brought the most snow in 85 years to Baton Rouge has caused travel issues making it that the LSU Lady Tigers couldn't travel to the game. The NBA has dealt with the same issues postponing the Bucks Vs Pelicans matchup on Wednesday.

The game will remain on ESPN being played at 4:00 PM Central or 5:00 PM Eastern for the Basketball fans on the East Coast. The bad news is that College Gameday planned to kick off its Basketball season at the rematch of the SEC Championship Game however, they will no longer be a part of the broadcast with the postponement.

College Gameday not attending this game is a massive bummer as its one of the best matchups across Men's and Women's College Basketball. Everyone was excited to see Kim Mulkey and Dawn Staley on the big stage and all the pageantry surrounding the game. This is a Top 5 Clash between the past two National Champions and College Gameday should've done whatever it could to get this game on Gameday.

The game being moved to Friday also creates a hectic turnaround for the LSU Women's Basketball team as they'll travel back to Baton Rouge to host the Texas A&M Aggies on Sunday at 3:00 PM Central Time.
