The LSU Basketball team has been extremely hot on the recruiting trail as Matt McMahon is putting together his best recruiting class yet. McMahon started September off by landing Matt Gilhool the 74th-ranked player in the class before ending the month by landing Mazi Mosley the 61st ranked player in the class.

Matt McMahon's recruiting hot streak continues now as he has landed the 70th ranked player in the class, Point Guard Jalen Reece.

After landing Reece LSU now has the second ranked recruiting class in the country.

The recruitment of Reece heated up this month when LSU and Providence both got him onto campus followed by Reece setting his commitment date after his visit to Providence but, LSU won out beating out the Friars and Cincinnati.

The Tigers have been extremely successful after hosting recruits on campus for the Football games. The Tigers got Mazi Mosley and Jalen Reece on campus for the UCLA game and landed Mosley right after his visit to Baton Rouge.

This class is now easily one of McMahon's best with three top 75 recruits and he may not be done yet. LSU still remains in pursuit of New Orleans native Chris Cenac who is the 7th ranked recruit in the class. The Tigers will get Cenac on campus for the Alabama game which should be another electric atmosphere.
