The LSU women's basketball team got their payback against the Ole Miss Rebels on Thursday night. Ole Miss defeated LSU by a score of 85-77 at the PMAC last March, which snapped a 12-game winning streak for the Tigers over the Rebels.

MiLaysia Fulwiley scores a career-high 26 points against Ole Miss
The Tigers trailed 63-54 entering the 4th quarter, and were down nine with as little as four minutes to go. But Fulwiley stepped up to score some clutch buckets down the stretch to lead LSU to a much-needed top-25 road win. LSU is now 4-4 against top-25 teams this season, with two of those wins coming away from Baton Rouge.
Fulwiley orchestrated a signature well-rounded effort, scoring a career-high 26 points, grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out a pair of assists in 24 minutes of action coming off the bench. She also added three steals and two blocks for good measure.
Fulwiley and the Tigers were at their best when it mattered most, as LSU out-scored Ole Miss 24-7 in the 4th quarter. Furthermore, LSU held Ole Miss without a single field goal throughout the entire 4th quarter. That's right, the Rebels went 0-for-16 from the field in the final 10 minutes of play.
Flau'jae Johnson had a great night as well, as she totaled18 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Those numbers could have been even higher if she didn't foul out in the final minutes of the game. But nonetheless, it was LSU's best comeback win of the season, and improves Mulkey's squad to 23-4 overall and 9-4 in SEC play on the season.
The Tigers are back in action on Sunday, February 22 with a home matchup against Missouri. Tip-off is slated for 3:00 p.m. CT. After that, LSU hosts Tennessee on February 26 before closing out the regular season on March 1 with a road tilt against Mississippi State in Starkville.
