Lane Kiffin has plenty of wide receiver production to replace at LSU in 2026. He's already brought in 9 receivers from the portal, and with the addition of Sam Leavitt at quarterback, the LSU offense has serious potential in Kiffin's first season on the sidelines in Baton Rouge.

LSU fans are also fired up about Harris' latest comments about why he chose LSU. When speaking with TigerRag.com, Harris said he followed his heart and picked the Tigers.

"Regardless of where I were to choose to go to school, I would have made the best of my opportunity, but I chose LSU because it’s wide receiver university. It’s a great opportunity with coach Kiffin coming in, you know, his offense has been the best offense in the country for the past couple years. And I’m just excited to be a part of it."

LSU is known as wide receiver university for a reason, as the program has repeatedly churned out top-tier receiving talent to the NFL. Harris is eager to experience all that LSU has to offer as he looks to carve out a role in Kiffin's offense for 2026.

Harris spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Stanford. He didn't see much action, as he redshirted in 2023 and played in 9 total games with Stanford from 2023-24. He then put together a breakout 2025 campaign with Hawai'i, totaling 49 catches and leading the Rainbow Warriors in receiving yards (963) and receiving touchdowns (12) in 10 games. In his career, the former 3-star recruit has racked up 55 catches, 1,049 yards, 13 touchdowns and 19.1 yards per catch.

Looking to lead the LSU offense to a bounce back season in 2026, Kiffin has given Tiger fans a lot to be pumped up about. Having Harris in the mix could make for an exciting offense this fall.
