LSU had a long line of great coaches in their football history. There have only been four coaches to coach at LSU, excluding interim coaches, since 2000. Nick Saban is one the biggest names that a lot of Tiger fans remember along with Les Miles and Ed Orgeron.

The Tigers have had five coaches inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, most recently Charles McClendon. There has been a history of great coaching at LSU current head coach Brian Kelly is trying to add to that history.

So obviously everyone remembers the greats and all they did for a program. However, what about the ones that weren't so good? What about the coaches who just couldn't seem to get it done?

It was tough for me to come up with three coaches who just couldn't get it done at LSU. I looked at win percentages and even if the coach dealt with scandal, I still struggled. I even considered Ed Orgeron for this list, but ultimately he did more good than bad for LSU so you won't see him here.

In the end, I came up with three, so here are the three worst head coach hires in LSU football history.
