LSU superstar dubbed the "Bayou Barbie" Angel Reese has officially made her decision on where she will play next season. Reese announced on social media that she would take her talents to the WNBA.

Reese in her video on social media had highlights of her career with her voiceover first thanking her mom first and foremost, family, teammates, friends, and coaches for everything they have done for her. Reese stated that college was everything she could have hoped for and she gotten everything she wants, a degree, a National Championship and a platform to help grow women's sports.

After playing two seasons at Maryland, the Baltimore native transferred to LSU and in her first season won a National Championship with the Tigers, the first one in program history. After going viral for her confidence, cockiness and even taunting fellow women's basketball superstar, Reese has been at the forefront of women's college basketball, both in good ways and bad.

Reese has always stated she is "unapologetically me" meaning she will never change who she is for anyone. In turn, Reese has received a lot of hate on social media, but you would never know it affected her. After the loss to Iowa in the Elite Eight of this year's NCAA Women's Tournament, Reese's teammates came to her defense building Reese up and letting everyone know who she is.

In her announcement video, Reese, who only had 48 hours after the Iowa loss to decide her future, stated it was a very difficult decision, but she feels ready for the next chapter. Reese leaves college basketball averaging 18.6 points, 1.9 assists, 1.2 blocks, 12.3 rebounds, and shooting 49.8% from the floor in her career. In the current WNBA mock draft, Reese is projected to go seventh overall to the Minnesota Lynx.

Thank you Angel for everything you did at LSU, but more importantly, for everything you did for women's sports.

Bayou Barbie out.
