This week already saw the LSU Football team pick up one of it's top recruiting talents in DJ Pickett as the Tigers now hold the Nation's top recruit on the offensive and defensive side of the football. Today, we may see the LSU Football team add to its third-ranked recruiting class as two top-100 players announce their commitments where LSU will have a hat on the table.

Four-star receiver Derek Meadows is the first of the two elite recruits who will announce his commitment. As per the On3 industry recruiting rankings, Meadows is ranked as the 41st-ranked player in the class and the 7th-ranked receiver in the class. Meadows will commit at 3 PM Eastern or 2 PM Central with LSU, Notre Dame, Alabama, and Michigan set as finalists in Meadows' recruitment. For fans looking to watch the announcement live, the decision will be streamed on the 247 Sports YouTube account. This week, the decision has seemingly come down to the LSU Football team and Notre Dame with tons of optimism surrounding the Tigers.

Former LSU Commit Jaboree Antoine will announce his commitment for the second time at 5 PM Eastern or 4 PM Central Time. According to On3's industry rankings, Antoine is the 87th-ranked player in the class, the 9th cornerback, and the 2nd-ranked player in Louisiana. This recruitment was between Florida State, Miami, and LSU coming into the week but, Antoine dropped Florida State earlier in the week. This would be the second massive win for Corey Raymond this week but, he'll need to beat out former LSU Tiger Chevis Jackson who's the lead recruiter on the Miami side.

Landing both players would be massive for LSU

Coming into this week, the LSU Football team had two massive needs in this recruiting class, receivers and cornerbacks. The Tigers helped fill the need with DJ Pickett but, the Tigers still need to bring in talent to rebuild the secondary. Between Jaboree Antoine and Derek Meadows, the player the Tigers will feel the most confident about is Meadows while Antoine's commitment feels like a true coin flip at best. The Tigers will be perfectly fine if they miss out on Antoine as they can easily flip him later in the process.
