The LSU Football team is in the upcoming EA College Football 25 Video Game and nearly the entire team is opted into the game with Kyren Lacy and Jyaire Brown joining the list on Friday. When the game was released it was said that the schools would receive some financial benefit for appearing in the game but, the number wasn't disclosed.

Cllct Media revealed that schools were being paid based on how many AP Poll finishes the schools had in the last ten seasons.

LSU Football is one of thirteen teams in the top tier, receiving nearly $100,000 to appear in the game. The tiers were made using a point system with one point for each season finishing in the AP Top 25 with schools that had 6-10 points ranking in the top tier, 2-5 points in the second tear, one point getting any point into the third tier, and schools that never finished in the AP Top 25 finishing in the final tier receiving a tenth of what the top tier got.

The tiering system is overall, the best way to grade each of these teams as they're being rewarded for their success on the field and not their brand value. For example schools like Texas, Florida, USC, Tennessee, and Ole Miss are certainly more popular than Oklahoma State and Utah but, it wouldn't be the right decision to knock OSU and Utah for their success.
