EA College Football 25 sim has LSU battling in the 4th Quarter Vs South Alabama
The LSU Football team is set to face off against explosive South Alabama on Saturday as the Sun Belt's hottest offense heads to Baton Rouge. The LSU Football team is looking to pick up their fourth win in a row before heading into the bye week. This is a game that LSU should win pretty easily but, if Major Applewhite's team gets going offensively this could become a shootout.
To get an idea of how this game may play out, we simulated a game of EA College Football 25 to see how the computer has this game playing out.
In the simulation, South Alabama took an early 7-0 lead on a Braylon McReynolds 1 yard rush. The Tigers would answer quickly as Garrett Nussmeier found speedy return man Zavion Thomas for a 51-yard touchdown. LSU would put points on the board once more thanks to a Damion Ramos 50 yard field goal to give LSU a 10-7 lead to end the first quarter.
LSU would extend its lead as Garrett Nussmeier found CJ Daniels for his first touchdown at LSU on a 13 yard pass. South Alabama would head into the half much happier as they'd drill a 45 yard field goal to end the half trailing 17-10.
The third quarter would go scoreless but, in the fourth quarter South Alabama would tie things up on a Kentrel Bullock four-yard touchdown. LSU would answer pretty quickly as Kyren Lacy would catch a 54-yard pass from Garrett Nussmeier to put the Tigers on top. LSU would then close things out as Damian Ramos nailed a 41-yard field goal to give LSU a 27-17 win.
In the simulation, Garrett Nussmeier finished the day completing 9 of 15 attempts for 215 yards and three touchdowns. The Tigers would struggle once again running the football as Josh Williams would lead the Tigers with just 31 yards on 11 attempts. Kyren Lacy would lead LSU once again with 94 yards and a touchdown.
Standout stats from LSU in the simulation
On defense, it was another monster game from Bradyn Swinson as he recorded five tackles and another two sacks. Ashton Stamps would give the Tigers a much-needed turnover intercepting a pass and returning it 14 yards. His counterpart Zy Alexander would give LSU another turnover forcing a fumble which Major Burns would recover. In the return game, Zavion Thomas flashed like he does in real life returning his lone attempt for 48 yards.
