We'll officially see the kickoff of College Football this week and excitement is at an all time high. The expansion of the College Football Playoff has given nearly everyone a chance at cracking the Playoff which will make this one of the most watched seasons of all time.

The LSU Football team enters the season with mixed expectations as some have the Tigers sneaking into the College Football Playoff while others have the Tigers missing the Playoff. ESPN has probabilities of who will win for each game which gives us a good idea of how the Tigers are expected to finish.

Week One - VS USC Trojans - 54.6%

It’ll surprise no one that this game is seen as a toss up considering how much turnover both teams underwent. Which ever teams defense improved the most paired with which Quarterback is the most ready will win this game. Winning a ranked matchup this early in the season will put the victor on a great path to the College Football Playoff.

Week Two - Vs Nicholls State - 98.2%

The only surprise about this one is that LSU isn’t a bigger favorite against Nicholls. The Tigers will look to handle business quickly allowing the backups to see some playing time. The game will kick off the 100th season of Tiger Stadium and the improvements to the stadium will be on full display.

Week Three - At South Carolina - 63%

The first matchup for the Tigers in the SEC should be an easy victory for the LSU Football team. The Gamecocks undergo a ton of turnover like the Tigers but, Shane Beamer finds his seat uncomfortably warm. This should be a good measuring stick game for the Tigers but, should be one they win.

Week Four - Vs UCLA - 79.8%

Expectations couldn’t be lower for the Bruins as they enter the Big Ten. UCLA has turnover at head coach and quarterback as well as all over the roster as they’ve become a footnote in Big Ten expansion. The Tigers will hope to win in impressive fashion while hoping that UCLA turns it around and becomes a resume chip for the playoffs.

Week Five - Vs South Alabama - 90.4%

This should be another game LSU should win handily before heading into the bye week. South Alabama loses its head coach Kane Wommack who is now the defensive coordinator for the Tide. The Tigers will want to wrap this one up in a flash and stay healthy for the matchup against Ole Miss which could decide LSU’s playoff fate.

Week Six - Vs Ole Miss - 62.1%

On paper, many would call this game LSU’s toughest of the season. If the Tigers are able to beat Ole Miss who should be undefeated heading into the game after beating USC the Tigers should be a playoff lock. This will be arguably the Tigers toughest game of the season and look out as College Gameday could return to Baton Rouge. Working in LSU's favor is a bye week before this game while the Rebels will have played six straight games.
