We're now 24 hours away from LSU Football after what seemed like one of the longest off-seasons ever given all of the new wrinkles with the transfer portal. The Tigers will play a standalone game in College Football's version of Sunday Night Football against the USC Trojans. The Tigers went through training camp suffering only minor injuries which is a positive as only two players landed on the injury report.

Chris Hilton Jr - Questionable

The injury that was the most concerning was the bone bruises Chris Hilton Jr was dealing with as it landed him on the injury report as questionable. The Redshirt Junior is poised for a breakout season if he can stay healthy as he's slated to start this season. To start the week, Brian Kelly declared Hilton as questionable as he continued to work through his injury. Heading into the game, Hilton remains questionable but, he'll likely play as Brian Kelly noted that he was making good progress this week. If Hilton can't play or has to leave the game early, Brian Kelly indicated that Kyle Parker is the player to watch however, LSU will likely just rotate their receivers.

Miles Frazier - Probable

The only other LSU Tiger that landed on the injury report was starting guard Miles Frazier. During camp, Frazier spent some time in a walking boot as he dealt with an ankle injury that jeopardized his status for the game. When Brian Kelly announced the injury report, he listed Frazier as probable which was a massive sigh of relief for LSU Football fans. Frazier will seemingly play but, if he comes out of the game you'll see either Tyree Adams or Paul Mubenga who filled in for him at practice.

Even if both can't go the Tigers should be fine

If Frazier and Hilton both shockingly missed the game it wouldn't be a massive loss for the LSU Football team. The interior offensive line and wide receiver are two of the positions where LSU has great depth compared to the rest of the roster. Adams and Mubenga looked solid during their time with the first team while LSU will survive if players like Parker, Aaron Anderson, and Zavion Thomas have to rotate at the third receiver spot.
