The Jacksonville Jaguars had quite a draft selecting three LSU Tigers in the first four rounds of the draft. The Jaguars will hold Rookie Minicamp from May 10th to May 12th where 22 rookies will take the field for the first time. Aside from the three LSU Tigers draft picks attending Rookie Minicamp, the Jaguars will have one more former Tiger joining in on camp.

After spending the 2023 season recovering from an ankle injury, Landry is healthy and looking for another opportunity in the NFL. Landry will attend the Jaguars Rookie Minicamp looking to earn a contract with the team.

In the 2022 season, Landry started three games catching 25 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown. In his career, Landry has recorded an incredible 713 catches for 7,870 yards and 43 touchdowns as he looks to continue climbing up all time receiving leaderboards.

While this gives Landry an incredible opportunity to return to the NFL it also provides the Jaguars with an excellent veteran mentor to a talented rookie class.

The player with the most to gain from spending time alongside Jarvis Landry is fellow LSU alum Brian Thomas Jr. Not only can Jarvis Landry provide players like Thomas with tips on the football field he can also share some tips with Thomas on how to last long term in the NFL.

The Jaguars roster is makeable for Jarvis Landry

While the Jacksonville Jaguars made significant additions to their wide receiver room this off-season adding Gabe Davis and Brian Thomas Jr the group still gives Landry a chance to make the team. The Jaguars released veteran receiver Zay Jones meaning that Landry likely only needs to beat out unproven players like Devin Duvernay and Tim Jones to make the team. The Jaguars have quickly become one of the best teams to root for as an LSU fan as the team continues stockpiling LSU Tigers.
