We're onto Nicholls State as the LSU football team looks to get into the win column for the first time in 2024. The Tigers are going to be vast favorites over Nicholls State who opened their season with a loss to Louisiana Tech on Saturday. Here is all the information you need and more when it comes to watching LSU versus Nicholls State.

How to Watch

The game won't be played on traditional television as there are better matchups that ESPN is choosing to broadcast. The game can be seen on ESPN + or on SEC Network + which are both great services to have especially after DIRECT TV cut off service right before LSU's game on Sunday Night. ESPn + costs $10.99 a month or $15 a month if bundled with Hulu and Disney +. If you purchase ESPN +, SEC Network + is also included which is a great tool for some of the smaller SEC sports that you don't always see on traditional television.

Odds

Given the vast gap between these two programs, there currently aren't odds available for this game although that could always change.

Injuries

The LSU Football team has a few injuries to follow after the Sunday Night game against USC especially given there is one less day of recovery. Chris Hilton Jr missed the game with a bone bruise, he'll be a situation to monitor and it may be best for LSU to give him another week to fully recover. Kyle Parker who was replacing Hilton left the game on Sunday with what appeared to be an elbow injury and his status is another one to watch.

Weather

For those of you who are going to attend the game, the weather looks like it's going to give you a great day. For those of you that are going to be tailgating it won't be too hot as it'll be in the low to mid 80's from noon until kickoff. At kickoff it'll be 79 degrees and Sunny, perfect football weather before dropping to 72 at 10:00.

Series History

Believe it or not, the LSU Football team has never faced off against in-state Nicholls State despite the proximity. The Tigers were scheduled to face Nicholls for the first time in 2020 but, the pandemic forced the SEC into only playing a Conference Schedule. If everything goes well, we could see Nicholls become and opponent more often and possibly next season in Week Zero before LSU faces Clemson.
