This weekend was filled with recruiting visits for the Bayou Splash recruiting event and the visits will continue through the week up until August 1st when the recruiting dead period will begin running through the end of August. The LSU Tigers left the weekend landing one commitment from three-star in-state recruit Jalan Chapman who joins the Tigers 2026 recruiting class.

The LSU Tigers will look to continue their momentum on Monday as one of their top targets Anquon Fegans announces his commitment. Fegans is ranked as the 57th-best player in the class and the fifth-ranked safety. The Tigers have hosted Fegans four times over his recruitment including this past week for Bayou Splash. LSU will have plenty of competition in landing Fegans as he also took trips to Auburn and Alabama this weekend.

On Monday, LSU will host a pair of brothers from Louisiana in 2025 recruit safety Jacob Bradford and 2026 safety recruit Blaine Bradford. The brothers play in Baton Rouge at Catholic and will be massive recruits that LSU will push for in the months to come.

Jacob Bradford is a 2025 recruit ranked as the 396th-best player in the class and as the 11th-ranked player in the state. He's currently committed to Houston where he committed in June but, the LSU Tigers can make a push if the staff offers him a scholarship on Monday.

Blaine Bradford is the recruit that LSU wants the most out of the duo as he's ranked the 15th best player in the 2026 recruiting class and the top safety. On this visit the Tigers will be making pitch to what could be their starting safety duo of the future as Aiden Hall will also make the trip. The Edna Hall safety is ranked as the 47th ranked player in the country and the 4th safety.

Massive day for the LSU Football team

Landing Anquon Fegans would give the LSU Football team yet another top 50 recruit as the Tigers push for the Nation's top recruiting class while beating out Auburn and Alabama. The Tigers could also bolster their safety group with a solid pitch to Jacob Bradford which would in turn put them in the drivers seat to land Blaine Bradford. The Tigers are on a recruiting hot streak as of late and Monday could give the Tigers some extra firepower.
