The second Week of the NFL season is set to kick off tonight as the Bills and Dolphins face off but, having football back on Sunday was incredible. For LSU fans, there was an LSU Tiger playing in just about every game while the hometown New Orleans Saints won in dominant fashion.

The most exciting part of the kickoff to the NFL Season was seeing the recently drafted LSU Tigers kicking off their professional debuts. Malik Nabers led the New York Giants in receiving with 66 yards, Brian Thomas Jr scored the first touchdown of his career, and Jayden Daniels rushed for a pair of touchdowns.

Jayden Daniels' performance was good enough to earn him his first award in his NFL Career as he was given the Rookie of the Week Award for Week One.

On Sunday, Jayden Daniels completed 17 of 24 attempts for 184 yards while rushing the football 18 times for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns. While Daniels' numbers may not look impressive after seeing the video game numbers he posted at LSU, around the league nearly every offense struggled as team's get their first true game action.

A special matchup coming up for Daniels this weekend

This weekend, Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders will take on the New York Giants. That means we'll get to see Jayden Daniels face off against Malik Nabers which is incredible and will be a must watch for LSU fans. Daniels will face off against another Tiger Cordale Flott who starts at cornerback for the Giants. It'll be awesome to see Nabers and Jayden Daniels facing off after Nabers faced Justin Jefferson last weekend.
